Why is it that we always dream about our self?? And sometimes we can even see ourselves in our Dreams?? Can anybody help me or put some explanation on this? Anything written in Veda or any other religion about the dreams like why we dream what is the purpose of dream. ???? If we sleep to take and get rest, then why do we dream?? We are wasting our energy while dreaming!!! Our mind is like a tip of an ice berg. Only 1/10 of its portion is known to us. This 1 part is our conscious mind, where are our unfulfilled dreams, ambitions, fears and many similar things which keep happening with you or you feel should happen to you but not happen are suppressed deep down in your sub-conscious mind. It could be anger, fear, lust or anything which is unexpressed in your conscious mind or in reality. So our unconscious mind is all about us. While we are sleeping our sub-conscious mind is still working. And all what is suppressed deep inside in your mind try to erupt ...and this eruption is nothing but what we call ...Dream.
